Javed Ali gives Mumbai a night to remember at Mithibai Kshitij!

SVKM’s Mithibai College’s International Intercollegiate Cultural festival, ‘Kshitij: An Everlasting Flame’ ended its second day on a magical note with one of the most soulful singers that Bollywood has been blessed with. His aura, performances, and voice are one that is truly spellbinding. The 7th of January 2023 marked a memorable day indeed for all of those who stepped foot on JVPD Grounds, Juhu that night.
A mile-long line’s wait seemed to be of no problem for the overjoyed Mumbaikars who were eternally grateful to have experienced the night that awaited them. The soothing lights, the
calmness in the air, the energy surrounding the massive ground, and the smiling faces were all eager to sing their hearts out along with their favourite artist. Right from the moment the singer stepped on the stage, his fans could not stop cheering and hooting for the star.
His timeless Sufi hits like ‘Kun Faya Kun’ and ‘Jashn-e-Bahara’ were the kind that brought
everybody together effortlessly. The artist sang spectacularly with all his soul and it was indeed
a sight to reminisce about forever. The crowd was so immersed in the performance that nothing
else mattered to them. His voice weaved magic into the hearts of every onlooker present. Songs
like ‘Tum Tak’, ‘Tu Hi Haqueeqat’, ‘Saudebaazi’, ‘Guzaarish’, and ‘Ishaqzaade’ were an
ode to all the hopeless romantics present and certainly melted even the toughest of hearts.
Javed Ali has gifted this country with numerous songs of all possible genres, and one should
thank Mithibai Kshitij for giving them an opportunity to witness him perform live. People
present definitely seemed to have had the time of their lives. The singer expressed his gratitude
as he said, “I really love how music connects everybody and that is truly phenomenal. I have
not yet witnessed a festival as grand as Kshitij and I look forward to performing here again.”
And with this, yet another beautiful day at Kshitij came to an end. Nevertheless, they promise
you two more grand days that you will recite like a tale of old times!
