SVKM’s Mithibai College’s International Intercollegiate Cultural festival, Kshitij: An Everlasting Flame’s Day 2 dawned with a lot of energy and anticipation of what the day has in store for everyone. From a plethora of cultural events to star-studded evenings, the day had something in store for everyone.
Events like Alternative Dispute Resolution, IPL Auction, and Just A Minute, attracted witty and analytical minds from every nook and corner of the country. Sports like Mixed Martial Arts amassed fighters from all overthe town eager to showcase their skills. The spellbinding echo of drums and electric guitars resonated throughout JVPD Grounds owing to the Band Event. The enthusiasm and the spark that every participant held to win brought to light their competitive side. With the best participants from the country competing to be glorious winners at Kshitij, the venue was overflowing with talent and zest.
A mob of fans could not believe their eyes as they saw the sensational, Arjun Kapoor and Radhika Madan for the promotion of their latest movie, Kuttey. A musical showcase by Inayat Music, a band of supremely talented musicians creating melodies that amalgamates multiple genres of music. It was breathtaking to watch them immerse themselves in the performance and effortlessly had everyone in the audience fall in love with their symphonies.
JVPD Grounds turned into the destination-to-be for every single Sufi fan as they gathered to witness the mesmerizing evergreen singer Javed Ali, known to melt even the toughest of hearts with his voice. With compositions such as ‘Jashn-E-Bahara’, ‘Srivalli’, ‘Guzarish’, and ‘Kun Faya Kun’, he forged a surreal connection with the populace present. The faculty and administration of Mithibai College were overcome with pride to see their college’s festival soaring higher than ever, breaking all barriers in the hopes of attaining an unforgettable legacy. The organizing committee of Kshitij, united by the love they share for this festival, got teary- eyed as they added another extravagant day to the memories of this festival.
Day two was all about entertainment, fun, and above all happiness. It was indeed an eventful day worth experiencing for everyone. However, the fun at Kshitij does not end here and one can only wait to see what wonders lie for the city ahead.
